Coconut Coffee Face & Body Scrub
This coconut coffee scrub makes a great addition to your winter skincare routine. Slough off dry skin with this simple recipe, and use up your leftover coffee grounds!
Supplies
4 tbl coffee grounds (spent or fresh)
2 tbl coconut milk
1 tbl melted coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon powder (optional)
Instructions
Combine dry ingredients in a jar or bowl. Mix in the wet ingredients until a paste forms. Start out by using a teaspoon per part, adding more until you achieve your desired texture.
Hop in the shower and cleanse your face and body. Gently scrub the coffee coconut on the skin, and flush away completely with plenty of water. Make sure to moisturize well after scrubbing.
Use this scrub within 2-3 days of making it. Coffee grounds are a great exfoliator, so be careful not to use this more than once per week.
