Yoga Mat Spray
This DIY is super easy. You can knock it out in about ten minutes! It makes a great handmade gift, especially if you make a cute bottle label. It's super portable in your yoga mat bag, and you could even spray it on before class as an aromatherapy treatment.
This mat spray never takes the place of a full hose-down in the bathtub (it's recommended for my type of mat), but this helps remove some of the surface grime that builds up from use.
Supplies
Filtered water
Witch hazel
Essential oils
Spray bottle
I like to use witch hazel rather than white vinegar due to its gentler scent, but alternatively, you could use that. Choose whichever essential oils strike your fancy.
Instructions
Pour equal parts filtered water and witch hazel into a measuring cup. My spray bottle is 2 oz., so I used 1 oz. of each. Use 6-10 drops of each essential oil, depending on how strong you like your scent. I used ylang ylang and lemon essential oils, and mixed them until I liked the results.
Using a funnel, pour everything into your spray bottle. Clean up your mat!
